Diary : Matriculation Programme

Hello everyone, annyeong haseyo~

Since I am going through Matriculation Programme, I want to share things you need to know about it.

Firstly, it is known as a SHORTCUT to pursue your studies at IPTs.

After you finished the programme with excellent results,

you will pursue your education directly for Degrees or Bachelors IDK at the universities.

With only 10 months of full-speed studying, you will be able to reduce your time

on grabbing those degrees rather than any other programmes,

like Form 6, foundations, diplomas etc which took from 1 to 3 years.

Secondly, you will have the opportunity to pursue your studies at overseas

with the Matriculation College sponsorship.

And of course, with 4-flat results including extra curricular activities.

Therefore, not only you have to focus on studying alone but also on your co-curriculum activities.

On top of it, if you’re CHOSEN as the student of Matriculation Programme,

you should be very proud and feel happy for yourself.

This is because ALL Matriculation College students are CHOSEN among the best of the best.

There are also some students who got excellent SPM results however failed to get into any Matriculation College.

Next, it is about the programmes under Matriculation Programme.

There are TWO types of programme, that is

ONE-YEAR Programme (PST)

or

TWO-YEAR Programme (PDT).

Under ONE-Year Programme, there are THREE streams,

SCIENCE Stream or ACCOUNTS Stream or TECHNICAL Stream.

There are THREE different modules under SCIENCE Stream, that is:

  1. Module 1 ( Subjects : Mathematics T, Chemistry, Physics, Biology )
  2. Module 2 ( Subjects : Mathematics T, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science )
  3. Module 3 ( Subjects : Mathematics T, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science )

** MAIN SUBJECTS ONLY**

*Note: Only Science Stream students are offered for TWO-YEAR Programme

For ACCOUNTS Stream, the subjects taken including:

Mathematics T, Accounts, Business Learning, Microeconomy etc.

As for TECHNICAL Stream, the subjects are roughly like:

Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc

let me tell you something.

Life is all about planning
